Belong Lyrics

Summer quickly faded and all the stars have turned to stone
Out in the woods we waited, 'cause anywhere with you
I knew I was home and you were all I wanted to see thereAnd that's the way it was when we belonged together
And they thought we were crazy, we were so strong together
And this world you gave me I thought we'd go on forever
Ain't that strange, all these things I thought would never changeWith you right by my side
We'd cut through the fields up to the park
We'd leave the car on southside
To sleep by the fountain when it got dark
And you were all I wanted to see, yeahAnd that's the way it was when we belonged together
And they thought we were crazy, we were so strong together
And this world you gave me I thought we'd go on forever
Ain't that strange, all these things I thought would never changeTuck me away from you I changed you didn't want me to
But I craved to change and now you're goneRemember how it was when we belonged together
And they thought we were crazy, we were so strong together
And this world you gave me I thought we'd go on forever
I know we'll always belong together
Ain't that strange, all these things I hoped would never changeWe had it all

We had it allSummer quickly faded and all the stars have turned to stone
Out in the woods we waited 'cause anywhere with you
I knew I was home
