Beloved Lyrics

Beloved when you think of what the Lord has done
Every victory that he has won
The fact that you did not make it here on your own
It ought to make you say (thank you)
Beloved when you think about the price you paid
How on cavalry your soul he saved
The fact that he suffered, bled and died for your sin
It ought to make you say (thank you)
Thanks not expresses no thanks at all
Every now and then you ought to testify
Cause we overcome by the blood of the lamb
And the word of our testimony
He saved me (he saved me), he raised me (he saved me)
He healed me (he healed me) and he felt me (he felt me)
I love him (I love him), I love him (I love him), I love him
Lift everything (your last breath, lift your voice and say)
You ought to tell him (Lord I thank you)Beloved, I don't know what you been going through
But I know that he's been good to you

Because you're still alive today, that's enough
To open up your mouth and say (thank you)
Beloved, yes he did it once and he'll do it again
Because he's always been the type of friend
He's the same yesterday, today and forever
You really ought to say (thank you)
(Thanks not expresses no thanks at all)
(And every now and then you ought to testify)
(We overcome by the blood of the lamb)
(And the word of our testimony)
He saved me (he saved me), and he raised me (he saved me)
Man he healed me (he healed me) and he felt me (he felt me)
I love him (I love him), I love him (I love him), I love him
Lift everything (your last breath, lift your voice and say)
Lord I thank you (Lord I thank you)
He saved me (he saved me), and he raised me (he saved me)
Man he healed me (he healed me) and he felt me (he felt me)
Said I love him (I love him), I love him (I love him), say I love him
And everything (your last breath, lift your voice and say)
Now tell the lord (Lord I thank you)(Thank you for your love) I gotta thank this time to tell you thank you
(Thank you) Because you made the way of the [?]
(Thank you for your love) You loved me when I didn't have anybody to love me
(Thank you) That's why I've got to tell you
(Thank you for your grace) I thank you for the grace that I did not deserve
(Thank you) Thank you for your grace
(Thank you for your grace) Lord I thank you
(Lord I thank you) I want to thank you
(Thank you for your blessings) Blessings, not just once but uh
(Thank you) Not just twice but uh, you blessed me all over
(Thank you for your blessings) And all over again, that's why I love you
(Thank you) Favors
(Thank you for favors) I love you because you favored me
(Thank you for favors) I'm so [?]
(Thank you for favors) Lord I give you all the glorySo lift everything (your last breath, lift your voice and say)
Lord I thank you (Lord I thank you)You don't understand, you think I'm here because of who I am
But I understand that the favor that he gave me ain't because of who I am
But it's because of who I know
(Thank you for favors) I thank you for a favor
(Thank you for favors) A melody favor
(Thank you for favors) [?] favor
(Thank you for favors) You never left me
(You never left me) When my mother and father forsake me
(You never left me) You were with me all the time
(You never left me) To love me, to cradle meLift everything (your last breath)
If you've got breath in your body, lift your voice and sing (Lord I thank you)

Singing since age four, Marvin Sapp has shared the stage with many gospel notables and his gift is celebrated across musical genres. While he has enjoyed a decorated music ministry receiving Stellar Awards, Gospel Music Excellence Award as well as Grammy, Soul Train Music and Dove Award Nominations, he has also been honored in his hometown of Grand Rapids Michigan. Recognized for his professional and philanthropic efforts, Pastor Sapp has received the city’s highest African American honor, a Giants Award , as well as the Frederick Douglas award from the National Association of Negro and Professional Women’s Club.

Not complacent, yet pressing towards the mark currently as Founder and Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, one of the fastest growing churches in Western Michigan, Marvin is innovative in his approach to winning the lost and edifying the believer. As a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Pastor Marvin is committed to his community and enjoys taking the message to the masses. In its inaugural year, the ministry has initiated a Full Life approach with an emphasis of addressing the spiritual, physical and mental needs of the body. By no means is Pastor Marvin and the Lighthouse family resting on its laurels or taking credit for the well-rounded and effective ministry approach. In fact, with humility, they acknowledge they have found the formula for a successful ministry based on the Bible and cultivated through an intimate relationship with God.

Pastor Marvin is united in covenant to First Lady MaLinda Sapp, a gifted speaker, local
college professor and Limited Licensed Psychologist, who also serves as Administrative Pastor. They have three wonderful children; Marvin II, Mikaila and Madisson.
