Best Enemies Lyrics

Well yes, you are contented,
What more could you want?,
Yeah, you fight, but you always make it up,
It's love chasing its tail,Look at how she holds his hand and she,
She whispers to him Kiss her now,
And when she pulls away she's got his,
His heart dangling from her mouth,Phone calls and accusations and a,
A bad feeling all year round,
Gutless and co-dependant,
They're the best enemies in town,The best enemies in town,
The best enemies in town,
In town,
Oh yeah,
The silence - you hate it,
Hearts should come armour plated,
Violins, they play for,
You and me and for her,
With clear minds and wide eyes,

We make the best decisions,So...,
Just let it go...,So now the tears come easily and she,
She promises to change her ways,
But it's not about what you do, it is,
Who you are that matters these days,After months of rehearsals and bad excuses,
The moment to leave is now,
So death to contentedness,
You were the best enemies in town,
The best enemies in town,
The best enemies in town,
The best enemies,
Here's to the best enemies in town,
Town,Well,
Where will I found love now?,
Who will accept me now?,
They all cried for chairman Mao,
They all cried for chairman Mao,

'Look like tramps, sound like Kings'... This sums up the three-piece rock band from Camberley, Surrey to a tee. Citing their influences as Vitriolid, period; they formed in 1998. Jamie Lenman and Jon Pearce originally played with Jason Wilcock as Angel, sharing a local venue stage with other bands, one of which would become Hundred Reasons. In March 2000, they parted ways with Jason, and Mark Lawton joined as drummer, with who they wrote and recorded the Pilot EP, which was released in January 2001, after they changed their name to Reuben.
