Best of What I Got Lyrics

Ow, oh yeahIf you wanna put a message through my heart
Shoot the arrow in the morning, hey
I'm gonna rise and shine and wake you up
And move you without warningCall my name, I understand
The reason for desire
The band of gold I give to you
Be the ring of fire, heySomething in your kiss that lasts forever
Burning in the heat for you
Love you 'round the clock
You get the best of what I got, oh yeahGonna work all day to buy you pretty things
'Cause you're such a pretty girl
You can work me overtime, knock me out
Got my senses in a whirlLike a locomotive burning down the track
You're my destination
One on one and kiss for kiss
You're my fascinationSomething in your touch that holds the promise, hey
You got me feeling all shook up
I'll love you 'round the clock

You get the best of what I got, oh yeahI put my key inside your door and it feels so good
When I come home at night
We're rocking the neighborhood
Rocking the neighborhoodSomething that you read about in headlines, hey
I feel the heat for you
I wanna rock you 'round the clock, you get the best
You get the best of what I got, oh yeahYou get the best of what I got, ow
I wanna love you 'round the clock
(Best of what I got)
Oh, you get the best of what I got
(Best of what I got)
Ow, that's right, I wanna love you 'round the clock
(Best of what I got)Ow, ooh, yeah
(Best of what I got)
That's right, you get the best of what I got
(Best of what I got)

Bad English was an American rock band formed by 3 ex-members of the band The Babys, Jonathan Cain, John Waite and Ricky Phillips (now in Styx) along with Journey guitarist Neal Schon. The band's first, self titled album released in 1988, gave the band two hit singles in the United States, "When I See You Smile" and "Price of Love". However, on their second album, entitled "Backlash", the one and only single failed to enter the U.S. Top 40, peaking at number 42.
