Better News Lyrics

I wish I had better news but she was still in love with you
Wish I could look you in the eye, say it's a lie, just isn't true
Wish I had better news
I wish I had kinder words that didn't cut nor didn't hurt
But she told me that it's over, that she found somebody new
I wish I had better news
I know you must be devastated
All this time you've waited just to watch her walk away
Sometimes it really doesn't matter
Who's happy or who's sadder when there's tears on every face
It's sad but it's true, wish I had better news
I know you must be devastated
All this time you've waited just to watch her walk away
Sometimes it really doesn't matter
Who's happy or who's sadder when there's tears on every face
It's sad but it's true, wish I had better news
I wish I had better news
