Beware The Moon Lyrics

She, she was the seventh in line
She, she had my heart in no time
She seemed like the normal every day kind
She, she had a secret to hide
She, hoped that I’d never find
And where do I care, no maybe I don’t mind
Ohhh-ohh-ohh
She scares the hell out of me
Ohhh
But that’s how I like it to be
Under the moonlight
I almost died of fright
Yeah-eah-eah!
Under the moonlight
I was paralyzed
She changed right before my eyes
Under the moonlight
Well yes she was unafraid of horror films

And she liked the dark
She made up excuses to go walking in the park
I tried to leave her
Yeah But I had no luck
I was confused and amused and abused by her
She’s turning me into a nervous wreck
Make no mistake this girl was as strange as it gets
Under the moonlight
I almost died of fright
Yeah-eah-eah!
Under the moonlight
I was paralyzed
She changed right before my eyes
Under the moonlight
Heh!
Under the moonlight
I almost died of fright
Under the moonlight
Beware the Moon
Under the moonlight
I almost died of fright
Under the moonlight
Beware the Moon
Beware the Moon
Beware the Moon
Beware the Moon
Under the moonlight
I almost died of fright
Yeah-eah-eah!
Under the moonlight
I was paralyzed
She changed right before my eyes
Yeah-eah-eah!
Under the moonlight
I almost died of fright
Yeah-eah-eah!
Under the moonlight
I was paralyzed
She changed right before my eyes
Under the moonlight

The Living End formed in 1994 after lead singer/guitarist Chris Cheney and bassist Scott Owen were introduced to each other by their older sisters at Wheelers Hill Secondary College in Melbourne, Australia. Cheney, obsessed with 80s rockabilly group the Stray Cats, convinced Owen to learn the double bass instead of the piano and they started playing gigs under the name Runaway Boys after the title of a Stray Cats song. The group went through a succession of drummers before settling on Joe Piripitzi.
