Beyond the Realms of Death Lyrics

He had enough, he couldn't take anymore
He found a place in his mind and slammed the door
No matter how they tried, they couldn't understand
They washed and dressed him, fed him by handYea, I've left the world behind, I'm safe here in my mind
I am free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life, I'll decide not youWithdrawn he'd sit there, stare blank into space
No sign of life would flicker on his face
Until one day he smiled, it seemed as though with pride
The wind kissed him, goodbye and then he diedYea, I've left the world behind, I'm safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life, I'll decide not youKeep the world with all its sin, it's not fit for livin' in
Yea, I will start again it can take forever, forever, forever and ever
And ever, but I'll winHow many like him are there still
But to us, all seem to have lost the will
They lie in thousands, plagued and lost
Is nothing worth this bitter cost?Yea, I've left the world behind, I'm safe here in my mind
Free to speak with my own kind
This is my life, this is my life I'll decide not you

Keep the world with all its sin, it's not fit for livin' inBeyond the realms of death

Halford is a heavy metal band formed in 1999 by Rob Halford, the lead vocalist for Judas Priest. Halford formed the band to return to his heavy metal roots. His two previous projects were a "street metal"-style band called Fight and the industrial metal band 2wo. Halford's first album "Resurrection" was included in Martin Popoff's "The Top 500 Heavy Metal Albums of All Time". As well, the songs "Silent Screams" and the title-track "Resurrection" were included in Popoff's list. The track "The One You Love to Hate" included guest vocalist Bruce Dickinson, from Iron Maiden.
