Bigger Burn Lyrics

It was a year ago
You didn't want to be my friend
You didn't call to let me know
You simply walked away and let it endIt was a bigger burn
Than what I counted on
I always wondered why you didn't try
To tell me I was wrong, oohAnd after time had passed
I dipped my toe into the pool
Where you were floating on a raft
You didn't smile then, you played it coolIt was a bigger burn
Than what I counted on
I always wondered why you didn't try
To tell me I was wrong
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, oohHow long was it gonna take
For you to forgive me?
Whoa baby, it was worth the wait
To find you and dare you to kiss meHow long was it gonna take
For you to forgive me?

Whoa baby, it was worth the wait
I dare you to kiss meAnd now a year has gone
It always goes so fast
But takes so long and what a nice surprise
To find myself staring into your eyesIt was a bigger burn
Than what I counted on
I always wondered why you didn't try
To tell me I was wrongI was wrong
I was wrong
I was wrong
