Bittersweet Sundown Lyrics

I've scribbled out my view on faith
And waiting till timings right
I've sat and pondered and missed for days and days
And nights and nights and nightsI've never been the best with lines
I've got 17 pantomimes
That give away the words I say
And nothing that you should believeAnd all we are is a bittersweet sundown
A little bit love and a little bit letdown
I can't keep you around, I can't keep you around
In this bittersweet sundownI've had a lot of time to think
About where this all went south
I wanted you less and less until noon and dawn
And night, we're all sold outYou can tell me we'll be just fine
Quentin says you got 20 pantomimes
That give away my first mistake
Of not convincing you to believeThat all we are is a bittersweet sundown
A little bit love and a little bit letdown
I can't keep you around, I can't keep you around

In this bittersweet sundownTrust me when I say
You would make all the same mistake
Every promise would be made afraid
You would make all the same mistake
You admit you could get away, I let you get awayAnd all we are is a bittersweet sundown
You gave me every bit of your heart
And I'm the one that let you down
I can't keep you around, I can't keep you around
In this bittersweet sundownWhen the bittersweet sundown
When the bittersweet memory now

Framing Hanley is a five piece alternative rock band from Cookeville (Tennessee), United States. Nixon, Chris, Brandon, Tim, and Luke came together to form a band that was eventually named Framing Hanley. (The band was called by a different name up until 2006, Embers Fade, but changed in dedication to a great friend of the band, Ashley Hanley, who passed away.) With their amazing musical abilities and live show the band quickly gained a large following in Nashville.
