Black Cadillac Lyrics

Rosanna, baby come onIt was a black Cadillac drove you away
Everybody's talkin' but they don't have much to say
It was a black sky of rain none of it fell
One of us gets to go to heaven, one has to stay here in hellNow it's a lonely world
Guess it always was
Minus you
And minus blood, my bloodIt was a black Cadillac like one you used to drive
Now you were always rollin' but those wheels burn up your life
Oh, it's a black heart of pain that I'm wearin', suits me just fine
Oh, there was nothin' I could do for you when you were still aliveYeah, it's a lonely world
Just a numbers game
Well, a hundred years
Will find me feelin' just the sameYeah, it's a lonely world
I guess it always was
Minus you
And minus blood, my blood

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

In 1970 John Rewind was teaching guitar at Roger Calkins Music on Market St. in San Francisco, CA. One of his students, Lee Humphries, kept telling John about the talents of his buddy Joe Crane that he was in the Coast Guard with. Joe played bass with Johnny & Edgar Winter in high school back in Conroe, Texas and had been produced by the infamous Huey Meaux. Between Lee's description, and confirmation from Al Amis, who also worked at Roger Calkins and had heard Joe sing, John went to the Alameda, CA Coast Guard Officer's Club to see Joe perform, and the Hoodoo Rhythm Devils were born.
