Black and Blue Christmas Lyrics

Everyone's waiting
and anticipating
cuz christmas is two days awaylast minute shopping
and traffic ain't stoppin
Old lady, get out of my wayyes that's the spirit
and santa can't hear it
stuck in his shopping mall hell
Sneaking a shot while he's still on the clock
stood up and laughed til he fellcuz it won't be christmas this year
'til we've all turned black and blue
but it's all worth the wear and the tear
to spend christmas with you
sales are on sale
even discounts are discounted
ten percent's ten percent off
but its not in the front and they don't have it in back
so sold out is all it will cost.you're lost in the parking lot
can't find your car

you curse that they all look the same
slipped in a puddle of sluch then
decided to sit in it like you're insanecuz it won't be christmas this year
'til we've all turned black and blue
but it's all worth the wear and the tear
to spend christmas with you
ten gift certificates
purchased with love
like a french-fry and hamburger dream
so when you get hungry
then sick to your stomach
you'll stop and think of meand I hope it reminds yo
that I tried to find you
some beautiful shiny new things
but I started to miss you
and wanted to kiss you
much more than anythingbut it won't be christmas this year
'til we've all turned black and blue
but it's all worth the wearh and the tear
to spend christmas with you
