Blanket Me in You (Never Is So Soon) Lyrics

In how long will you go from here?
Because I want, I want to love you
And how far will you stray from me
When I will not let you go?Indifference, yeah, yeah
You gave it all to me
And now it is clear to see that
You have no intention of ever coming back to me
Never is so soon and I miss you, oh, uhHow does it find me
Only when I'm needy
Only when I'm lonely?
(How does it find me?)And how does it search out
What are the signals?
Why do I give off
Such thunderous signals?
And why do I give inWhy do I give up?
I am a reject of love, oh
And where are my friends now?
Where are my friends now?

Where is my lover now?Blanket me in you
Cover me in gold and blue
(Cover me, cover me in gold and blue)
Reason need not follow you
(Follow, follow, fo)
Blanket me in youI can still smell you on meIn how long will you go from here?
Because I want, I want to love you
And if I gather all my sorrow
Would you still love me tomorrow? It won't be so bad
I could make your sickness end
I once had my fortune read
"You won't be so sad", he said
I wonder if it's trueBlanket me in you
(Oh, oh)
Cover me in gold and blue
(Cover me, cover me in gold and blue)
Reason need not follow you
(Follow, follow, fo)
Blanket me in youI can still smell you on me
So, I can still smell you on meBlanket me in you
(Blanket me in you)
Cover me in gold and blue
(Cover me in, cover me in gold and blue)
Reason need not follow you
(Follow, follow, fo)Blanket me in you
(A-huh, a-huh, yeah)
Blanket me in you
(Blanket me in you)
Cover me in gold and blue
(Cover me in gold and blue)

Born December 23, 1978 Canadian singer-songwriter and producer Jen-Bea Englishman is better known as Esthero. At the age of sixteen, Esthero moved from small town Harriston, Ontario on her own to Toronto, where she began singing at open-mic nights, a journey that in 1997 led to a meeting with the president of EMI Publishing Canada, whom she charmed so well during their first meeting that without hearing her sing a single note he was moved to set up and finance recording sessions with Doc, a guitarist and studio engineer.
