Bleeds No More Lyrics

My heart bleeds no more
Now, its been turned to stone
Your stomach feels sick for someone else
And Ive broken both my legs, falling for youDrag me on the ground
Powerless, I stand, tarnished blade
Cutting through, pushed into my vein
Blood still stains my hands
Sharpening my sense of pain outsideMy heart bleeds no more
Now, its been turned to stone
Your stomach feels sick for someone else
And Ive broken both my legs, falling for youMy heart bleeds no more
Killing everything off inside
Make sense of everything you tried to hide
Hide from meMy heart bleeds no more
Now, its been turned to stone
My stomach feels sore from cutting up
And I ruined all my sanctity for you
Smash me on the groundI wanted to convince myself

Theres nothing else to do
I wanted to, provide you with
Proof of what you put me throughI wanted to pretend
That it was you
You're the worst thing
That ever happened to meDie, killing everything off inside
Make sense of everything you tried to hide
Hide from meMy heart bleeds no more
Now, its been turned to stone
Your stomach feels sick for someone else
And Ive broken both my legs, falling for you
Smash me on the ground

Silverstein is a 5-piece rock band from Burlington, Ontario, Canada; formed in 2000. The band name was taken from the famous children's author Shel Silverstein. After several lineup changes, the band acquired Billy Hamilton, a local fan who learned of the band's need for a bassist on the Internet message board "The 905 Board" (an Ontario area outreach board which used to be for local musicians). In Christmas of 2001, he joined the band after Shane Told helped him learn the music for the songs. Following a rehearsal on Boxing Day (December 26) in 2001, he officially debuted with Silverstein.
