Bloody Tears Lyrics

I've been speeding down this road
Waiting for a sign to slow me down
I'm not sure what I'd become
You're better off when I am not aroundYou won't ever see me cry again
It's a fragile, evil thing
To be on my own this time
But I doubt it's gonna matter in the endHeaven's not a place where I belong
Damaged all the beauty, I was wrong
I close my eyes forever
Wish that you were here
So I could make it better
Without those bloody tears
No one seems to care about
I'm walking dead and taking life too far
What if I could turn back time
And show you all the rotten things we are?You won't ever see me cry again
It's a fragile, evil thing
To be on my own this time

But I doubt it's gonna matter in the endHeaven's not a place where I belong
Damaged all the beauty, I was wrong
I close my eyes forever
Wish that you were here
So I could make it better
Without those bloody tearsIf you could leave all things behind for now
And trade it for my peace of mind...
Maybe I will find a million ways to die
It's such an overrated deal you gave me
No, you won't ever see me cry again
It's a fragile, evil thing
To be on my own this time
But I doubt it's gonna matter in the end
Yeah, maybe it'll matter in the end...Heaven's not a place where I belong
Damaged all the beauty, I was wrong
I close my eyes forever
Wish that you were here
So I could make it better
Without those bloody tears

Backyard Babies is a Swedish Rock'n Roll band, formed in the city of Nässjö in 1987, originally comprising singer Tobbe, guitarist Dregen, bassist Johan Blomquist and drummer Peder Carlsson. After recording a rough demo and playing a few local live dates, in 1989 the group dismissed Tobbe and replaced him with singer Nicke Borg; two more demos followed, as did a national tour, and in 1991 the Backyard Babies launched their first official release, the EP Something to Swallow.
