Blown to Kingdom Come Lyrics

Out in the world you can watch 'em struggling
For a small piece of luck
They won't die with a smile on their traceFor possession they'd kill their mothers
For some bucks they deny themselves
And the whole world is right in that traceThey are riding forth
No time to lose
Got to alter every placeThey are riding forth
No way to choose
And the next step's out to spaceWith a high hand they watch their buildings
Self-righteously praise their deeds
No time for recess on their wayIn a way it's quite amusing
But it's afake of deepest dye
Let's hope they'll see it one dayThey are riding forth
No time to lose
Got to alter every placeThey are riding forth
No way to choose
And the next step's out to spaceThey are riding forth
No time to lose

Got to alter every placeThey are riding forth
No way to choose
And the next step's out to spacePay attention to history
Look at all the things they've done
No remains, there's nothing left
It's all blown to kingdom comePay attention to history
Look at all the things they've done
No remains, there's nothing left
It's all blown to kingdom comePay attention to history
Look at all the things they've done
No remains, there's nothing left
It's all blown to kingdom come

Running Wild is one band from a wave of German Heavy metal bands to emerge in the early/mid 1980s (along with Helloween, Rage, Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, etc). The music they play is a mixture of heavy and speed metal. The band has carved its niche in the metal world as the first "pirate metal" band, a theme which took off with the release of Under Jolly Roger in 1987. The band played their farewell show at the Wacken Open Air 2009, for which setlist fans voted for. In October 2011 Rolf officially announced the comeback including a new studio album called "Shadowmaker" due in April 2012.
