Blue (1998 Unreleased Hybrid Theory Demo) Lyrics

[Verse 1]
In the dark days,
I'll part ways with the blame, trying to maintain
But it's still all the same, it's all a game
Hear my name in the rain,
And the pain I wear on my face with a tear stain
You feign fondness,
And honestly it's time to give you a piece of my mind
And show you that you're blind and,
In the design, of the world I call mine
Know that you can't stand on both sides of the line[Pre-Chorus]
Everything is my fault
(It's all the same, just pass me the blame)
The problems have two faces
Everything is my fault
(It's all the same, just pass me the blame)
The problems have two faces[Chorus]
Pass all the blame over to me

It will come eventually
Take the time out to examine
All these questions honestly[Verse 2]
With my eyes shut I'm seeing the truth in your words
The absurd, slurred into beauty to be heard
You swim through deceit, the lies that you tell
The stories you sell, knowing you well
I keep distance. And every instance,
You keep your thoughts concealed
What I feel, just another spoke in the wheel
All or nothin', thrown down and trampled by your heel
And eaten away by my own version of the real[Pre-Chorus]
Everything is my fault
(It's all the same, just pass me the blame)
The problems have two faces
Everything is my fault
(It's all the same, just pass me the blame)
The problems have two faces[Chorus]
Pass all the blame over to me
It will come eventually
Take the time out to examine
All these questions honestly[Outro]
(Darkens to black)
Nothing, thrown down
(It's all the same, just pass me the blame)
Trampled by your heel
(Play the game and win a tear stain)
Eaten by my own
(Pass the blame 'cause you'll feel it if you don't)
Version of the real
(I'll scar dead and get your mind, get your brain)
(Darkens to black)
Nothing, thrown down
(It's all the same, just pass me the blame)
Trampled by your heel
(Play the game and win a tear stain)
Eaten by my own
(Pass the blame 'cause you'll feel it if you don't)
Version of the real
(I'll scar dead and get your mind, get your brain)

Linkin Park is an American band from Agoura Hills, California. Formed in 1996, the band rose to international fame with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, which was certified Diamond by the RIAA in 2005 and multi-platinum in several other countries. Its following studio album, Meteora, continued the band's success, topping the Billboard 200 album chart in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world. In 2003, MTV2 named Linkin Park the sixth greatest band of the music video era and the third best of the new millennium behind Oasis and Coldplay.

Having adapted the nu metal and rap metal genres to a radio-friendly yet densely layered style in Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the band explored other genres in their next studio album, Minutes to Midnight, which was released in 2007. The album topped the Billboard charts and had the third best debut week of any album that year. The band has collaborated with several other artists, most notably with rapper Jay-Z in their mashup EP Collision Course, and many others included on Reanimation. The band's most recent studio album, A Thousand Suns, was released on September 8, 2010. Linkin Park has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and has won two Grammy Awards.
