Blue Christmas Lyrics

I'll have a blue Christmas without you
I'll be so blue thinking about you
Decorations of red on a green Christmas tree
Won't mean a thing dear if you're not here with meI'll have a blue Christmas that's certain
And when those blue heartaches starts hurtin'
You'll be doing all right with your Christmas of white
But I'll have a blue, blue ChristmasI'll have a blue Christmas I know, dear
I hope your white Christmas brings you cheer
And when you say your prayers on this Christmas Eve
Will you feel the same dear as when you prayed with me?And when those blue snowflakes start falling
That's when those blue memories start calling
You'll be doing all right with your Christmas of white
But I'll have a blue, blue Christmas

Ernest Dale Tubb (February 9, 1914 – September 6, 1984), nicknamed the Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the Floor Over You" (1941), marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music. In 1948, he was the first singer to record a hit version of "Blue Christmas", a song more commonly associated with Elvis Presley and his mid-1950s version.
