Blue Monday Lyrics

Cancel my reservation
I'm coming home tonight
Lock all the doors and windows
It's going to be a bumpy ride.
There's no doubt about it
There's nothing I can do
Here comes that blue Monday,
It comes creeping up on you.
Break out the family papers, that's what I'm going do.
Shut off the television, I don't want to hear the news.
Turn off that hopped up music
Just give me some electric blues
Here comes that blue Monday,
It comes creeping up on you.
I wanna get lost, I wanna change my name
I wanna run and hide until the dark clouds go away
I don't want to talk about it

I don't want to explain
Once you walk that walk you won't forget that pain.
Blue Monday
(Musical pause)
Bring me that diamond mojo, I think I'm going to need it tonight
Jump in the El Dorado, let's do it right
Don't play that hopped up music
Just give me some electric blues
Here comes that blue Monday
It comes creeping up on you.
Here comes that blue Monday
It comes creeping up on you.
I wanna get lost, I wanna change my name
I wanna run and hide until the dark clouds go away
I don't wanna talk about it,
I don't want to explain
Once you walk that walk you won't forget that pain.
Blue Monday
Blue Monday.
