Blue Moon Lyrics

blue moon, you saw me standing alone,
without a dream in my heart,
without a love of my own,
blue moon, you knew just what i was there for,
you heard me saying a prey for,
someone i really would care for,
and then suddenly i hear before me,
the only one my arms could ever hold,
i heard somebody whisper please adore me,
and when i looked the moon had turned to gold,
blue moon, now i know i'm rather alone,
without a dream in my heart,
without a love of my own,
and then suddenly i hear before me,
the only one my arms could ever hold,
i heard somebody whisper please adore me,
and when i looked the moon had turn to gold,
blue moon, now i know i'm rather alone,

without a dream in my heart,
without a love of my own,

Frankie Avalon born Francis Thomas Avallone (born 18 September 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) was an American actor, singer and teen idol in the 1950s and early 1960s. By the time he was 12 (1951), Avalon began making appearances on U.S. television for his trumpet prowess, and as a teenager, played with Bobby Rydell in a band known as Rocco and the Saints. In 1959, his songs "Venus" and "Why?" both went to number one on Billboard magazine's Hot 100. Indeed, "Why" was the last #1 hit of the 1950s.
