Blue Train Lyrics

Another day is ending
I remember when my world, came falling down
Out there the stars stop dancing
Lost in my darkness now, the rain keeps falling downLight of my life, where have you gone
Love's true flame dies, without the warmth of your sunHere comes the blue train rollin'
Across my heart it crawls, the rain still pouring down
Another day escapes me
A little later maybe, love will roll aroundLight of my life, where have you gone
Love's true flame dies, without the warmth of your sunI've been waiting on a corner
Yeah, I've been waiting for a sign now
Oh, I've been waiting on the corner
I've been waiting for a sign now, oh, nowLight of my life, where have you gone
Love's true flame dies, without the warmth of your sunWhistle blowin', blue train rollin', carry my heart, my soul, oh, hey
Whistle blowin', blue train rollin', carry my darling son, hey, hey
Whistle blowin', blue train rollin', carry my heartI've been waiting on a corner
I've been waiting for a sign now
Oh, I've been waiting on the corner
I've been waiting for a sign, now, oh, oohWhistle blowin', blue train rollin'

Come and carry my, my, my heart now, oh, oh yeahI've been standing on a corner
I've been waiting for a sign now
Hear the blue train, hear the blue train, oh
It's the blue train rolling

Zep's main writers reformed on 17 Apr 94, as a part of the Alexis Korner Blues Show at Buxton, England. On 25 & 26 Aug', they taped performances in London, Wales & Morocco, with Egyptian & Moroccan orchestration of several Zep' tunes along with four new songs, backed by Farouk el Safi.
