Blueberry Hill Lyrics

I found my thrill
On Blueberry Hill
On Blueberry Hill
When I found youThe moon stood still
On Blueberry Hill
And lingered until
My dream came trueThe wind in the willow played
Love's sweet melody
But all of those vows you made
Were never to beThough we're apart
You're part of me still
For you were my thrill
On Blueberry HillThe wind in the willow played
Love's sweet melody
But all of those vows you made
Were never to beThough we're apart
You're part of me still
For you were my thrill

On Blueberry Hill

Clifford Brown (October 30, 1930 – June 26, 1956), aka "Brownie," was an American jazz trumpeter. He died aged 25 in a car accident, leaving behind only four years' worth of recordings. Nonetheless, he had a considerable influence on later jazz trumpet players, including Donald Byrd, Lee Morgan, Booker Little, and Freddie Hubbard, among others. He was also a composer of note: two of his compositions, "Joy Spring" and "Daahoud", have become jazz standards.
