Blunt Force Trauma Lyrics

I never saw whatever it was
That came and hit me from behind
Then I awoke enraged and confused
How could I have been so blindLife's escaping, don't pretend
Judgment comes, but who knows whenSo when you least expect
That's when it takes effect
A tragic twist to alter fateInstinct is to deny, logic does not apply
In time we learn, but it's too late
Blunt force trauma to the headBlazing through life at the speed of sound
Don't stop to look at the signs
Suddenly everything crashes around you
When we forget, life remindsClock is running, falling sand
Time is slipping through your handsSo when you least expect
That's when it takes effect
A tragic twist to alter fateInstinct is to deny, logic does not apply
In time we learn, but it's too late
Blunt force trauma to the headBut it's too late
It's too late

It's too late
Too lateBlunt force trauma
Blunt force traumaSo when you least expect
That's when it takes effect
A tragic twist to alter fateInstinct is to deny, logic does not apply
In time we learn, but it's too late
Blunt force trauma to the headIt's too late
It's too late

Damageplan was a short-lived American groove metal band from Dallas, Texas that formed in 2003 out of the ashes of the legendary Pantera. Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, the Abbott brothers (guitarist Dimebag Darrell and drummer Vinnie Paul) wanted to start a new band. The pair recruited former Halford guitarist Pat Lachman on vocals, and tattoo artist Bob Zilla on bass. Damageplan released its debut album New Found Power in the United States on February 10, 2004, which debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200, selling 44,676 copies in its first week.
