Blur Lyrics

I always saw you as something else
It looks like my eyes played a trick on themselves
But I galaxy it in misguided shade
May erase the image of the life we madeI was set on you, when you had to shift
Mistakenly you had your flaws burned in
And it covers me 'till I fade to black
Unraveling the film of the life we hadYou black light was too bright but now I can seeOh, I feel over exposed
I picked your lens perfect but now it's just a blur
You got me feelin' like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
I picked you light perfect but now I know
That I don't focus, 'cause your just a blurYou always saw me as something less
The trust that you had, snapped in a flash
'Cause the galaxy done the filter fade
They remove me from the center of the frameSo I let it go, and we both moved on
There was no contrast, just black and white
Now we leave our past, capped up in stores
Just a photograph with the edges wornOh, I feel over exposed
I picked your lens perfect but now it's just a blur

You got me feelin' like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
I picked you light perfect but now I know
That I don't focus, 'cause your just a blurOh, I feel over exposed
I picked your lens perfect but now it's just a blur
You got me feelin like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
I picked you light perfect but now I know
That I don't focus, 'cause your just a blur
'Cause your just, 'cause your just, 'cause your just a blur
'Cause your just, 'cause your just, 'cause your just a blurYou got me feelin like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
I picked you light perfect but now I know
That I don't focus, 'cause your just a blur

We Came As Romans is a post hardcore band formed in 2005. Hailing from Troy, Michigan, We Came As Romans are pushing the envelope, combining influences such as the intertwined singing/screaming vocals of Underoath, the theatrical, orchestra-infused metal of Chiodos, the crushing breakdowns of The Devil Wears Prada and the positive lyrics of August Burns Red on their debut Equal Vision release, To Plant a Seed. Their second album, Understanding What We've Grown to Be, released in September 2011 featured a darker tone than their previous album while still maintaining the band's overall theme of positivity and brotherhood.

Signed to Equal Vision Records (announced April 16th) after being named Alternative Press’ “Best Unsigned Band” early 2009.

Members:
Dave Stephens – Vocals
Kyle Pavone – Vocals/Synth
