Body of My Own Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
You're so damn cold
You've got no feelin'
I want my blood hotter
Not satisfied
I need to taste it
Your sex is so overGot the gun in my hand
And I'm pointing straight
To the target and
I'm gonna blow my brakes
I don't need you

My touch is better
I'm rollin' much harderLights out
On my own
Got my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you
'Cause I'm gone
So high
Got my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you'Cause I can make it feel just like I'm hanging on
Yeah I can do it better when I'm all aloneLights out
So high
All aloneI've got a body of my ownI'm in control
My hands are shakin'
My skin's getting wetter
I'm coming close
It's overloading
I'm walking with fireSpin around in my head and I'm screaming out
But with you in the room I can never shout
This heroin
I'm sinkin' so deep
Wish I could stay here foreverLights out
On my own
Got my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you
'Cause I'm gone
So high
Got my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you'Cause I can make it feel just like I'm hangin' on
Yeah I can do it better when I'm all aloneLights out
So high
All aloneI've got a body of my ownLights out
Got my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you
'Cause I'm gone
So highGot my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you
'Cause I'm gone
So highGot my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you
'Cause I'm gone
So highGot my darkness
I'm into myself
Don't need you
'Cause I'm gone

Charli XCX, born Charlotte Aitchison on 2 August 1992, is a Hertfordshire singer-songwriter. Her debut album, True Romance, was released in April of 2013. Charli's career began at the age of 14. During the day she’d be at school - she loved art, hated music - and afterwards she’d write songs and produce raw demos in the bedroom of her parents' house. By night, she’d be in London in a “colourful, glittery world that didn't really mean that much, but never claimed to either”.
