Pensées Nocturnes is a depressive black metal / neoclassical ambient one-man project, fronted by Vaerohn and hailing from Paris, Île-de-France, France.
Vaerohn started making music under the name Pensées Nocturnes in 2008. The music, while rooted in the depressive black metal genre, draws great influence from classical composers, namely Frederic Chopin.
