Boom (Mike Rizzo Funk Generation - Radio Edit) Lyrics

I'm getting myself in something I don't wanna
I'm getting caught up in him but I don't wanna
I'm getting off track and I can't control a thing, a thingI'm telling myself it's not a good idea
But the more I hesitate the more I fall for him
I'm tryin' to erase his face from my memoryAnd then a boom shalaka, he's walkin' up to me
Boom shalaka, he starts to talk to me
Boom shalaka, my heart skips
Boom shalaka laka, boom, boomThe more I hang there the more I get wrapped up in him
Imagine myself in the chair I was sittin' in
And every little thing he said comin' back to me, to meThe more I get scared of losin' I'm afraid to say
Where can I go? At the same time it excites me
Gotta get him outta my head, get on with meAnd then a boom shalaka, he's walkin' up to me
Boom shalaka, he starts to talk to me
Boom shalaka, my heart skips a boom
Shalaka laka, boom, boomBoom shalaka, eyes come in contact
Boom shalaka, starin' me down talk
Boom shalaka, my heart skips
Boom shalaka laka, ahHe make my head go boom, boom

He make my breath go shaka laka
And then my heart goes boom, boom
And everything goes shaka lakaI tell myself, no I'm not gonna do this
I promise myself, no I'm not gonna do this
Doesn't matter what he says
I know he's no good for me, no, no, no, noAnd then a boom shalaka, he's walkin' up to me
Boom shalaka, he starts to talk to me
Boom shalaka, my heart skips
Boom shalaka laka, boom, boomBoom shalaka, eyes come in contact
Boom shalaka, starin' me down talk
Boom shalaka, my heart skips
Boom shalaka laka, ah, ahHe makes my heart go, ah, ah
My heart, my heart

Anjulie (born Anjulie Persaud; 1983) is a singer and songwriter from Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Anjulie is an intriguing, authentic new voice on the pop landscape, with the melodic gifts, vocal prowess and sophistication that announce her as a true original. Obsessed with music as a child, Anjulie has been singing and writing songs since she was a teen, and the years she spent honing her craft are readily apparent on her self-titled debut album for Hear Music. Co-written with her producer and collaborator Jon Levine (of Canadian r and b hit makers The Philosopher Kings), the album finds Anjulie setting intensely personal stories about her life, loves, obsessions, and heartbreaks to a dazzling genre-blending mix of pop, hip-hop, rock, and world rhythms she heard as a child growing up. Much like her contemporaries Nelly Furtado, Corrine Bailey Rae and Lily Allen, Anjulie is ready to carve out her own essential place in popular music.

Anjulie is a self-described music addict and has been writing and composing her own music since she was a teenager. She wrote the song "Say Goodbye to Jr. High", contributed background vocals and played percussion for the CD "Unfabulous and More" (2005). Her début album "Anjulie" was co-written and produced by Jon Levine of The Philosopher Kings.
