Boom Lyrics

Nobody move, nobody get hurt
Somebody don't know, so that body got burnt
You in the jungle, baby, you gonna die
Might as well get fucked, might as well get highOn the real son, I'mma take everything, I need
The drugs, the sex, the power, the American dream
I'm a rude, rude boy raised by TV
I laugh at violence, pain and death don't mean shit to meIt's got to be like that
Call me a loser, yo, I can deal with that
You think you're all that, till I lay you on your back
With your legs spread, haa boom! How you like that? How you like that?
How you like that?
How you like that?
Can you feel me?How many motherfuckers, just like me
Grew up just like me, fucked up, just like me
Wake up, light up, watching B E T
They're fuckin' babies, mothers from Jersey to CaliDon't get mad, get high, go get even
Go get your shit back, then tell that lyin' ho, you're leavin'
I smoke weed, I drink wine

Take your daughter to my tour bus
And fuck her from behindIt's got to be like that
Call me a loser, yo, I can deal with that
You think you're all that, till I lay you on your back
With your legs spread, haa boom! How you like that? How you like that?
How you like that?
How you like that?
Can you feel me?You were never there, when I was down
Like when I needed someone, you were nowhere to be found
I remember the sound of your heartbeat
I remember how you found something good in meNow I remember how you started fucking with me
You kept fucking on me, always trying to pull
Something with me, shit, this ain't no game to me
This shit is life to me, and you ain't living right, babyIt's got to be like that
Call me yo nigga, I can deal with that
You think you're all that, till I lay you on your back
With your legs spread, haa boom! How you like that? How you like that?
How you like that?
How you like that?Hear my dog say, "How you like that?"
My nigga say, "How you like that?"
White boy say, "How you like that?"
My lady say, "How you like that?"New York say, "How you like that?"
Cali say, "How you like that?"
Huh, Miami say, "How you like that?"
Detroit say, "How you like that?"Portland say, "How you like that?"
L.A. say, "How you like that?"
D.C. say, "How you like that?"
[Incomprehensible] say, "How you like that?"Jersey say, "How you like that?"
Dallas say, "How you like that?"
[Incomprehensible] say, "How you like that?"

Hed P.E., previously known as (hed) Planet Earth and stylized as (həd) p.e. is a rapcore band from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1994, the band performs a style of music which they refer to as "G-punk". Their music is primarily based in a fusion of punk rock and hip hop, but they have also been known to incorporate elements of heavy metal, reggae and other genres. After releasing three albums on Jive Records, Hed PE left the label to record independently, eventually signing with Suburban Noize Records in 2006. To date, they have released seven studio albums, one live album and one compilation album.

The band was formed by rapper Jared Gomes, also known as "M.C.U.D." (MC Underdog), and guitarist Wes Geer, who became friends amidst the Orange County hardcore punk scene. Gomes and Geer recruited guitarist Chizad, bassist Mawk, drummer B.C. Vaught and DJ Product © 1969. They named the group "Hed", which stands for "higher thought". The band built a following with their energetic performances at local venues, and released the self-financed extended play, Church of Realities. Legal issues forced Hed to change their name, adding "PE", which stood for "Planet Earth".

Hed PE signed with Jive Records, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1997. In his review of the album, Allmusic's Steve Huey wrote that Hed PE "[are] rhythmically looser and funkier than many similar rap-metal bands, although comparisons to Rage Against the Machine are still apt. There are some slow and/or unfocused moments but overall, its aggression will probably play well with late-'90s metal and punk fans. "Due to the label's contractual terms and the disappointing sales of the album, the band found themselves unable to repay the cash advances given to them by Jive. Gomes is quoted as saying "We had these romantic visions of the music industry, and we thought it would be cool to be a punk band on a rap label. So we fulfilled that dream, but it was also probably the worst thing that could have happened. We've had offers from Sony and others that we can't take because we owe Jive so much money."
