Border Blues - CS Nielsen

Stig Nielsen (b. 1977 on the island of Samsø) is a Danish songwriter, singer and guitarist. His music reflects an itching fascination of stripped-down melancholy, dark Americana mythology and spiritual longings in a blend of folk, alt. country, roots, blues and spirituals. Stig has performed his songs in various Danish venues since 1994 and has, along the way, earned the nickname Country Stig... CS Nielsen has recently signed with independent record label Songcrafter Music, and his debut "Against the Dying of the Light" (with eleven self-penned songs) has been out since June 2007.
