Breathing New Life Lyrics

Can you feel it building?
Can you feel it building?
Can you feel it building?
Can you feel it building? Can you feel it building?
Devastation is on the way
Feel the hair on the back of your neck
As the rush beginsYou can't take it away
I earned this with sweat and blood
You can't take it away
Take what's mineBreathing new life back into me
Challenging all the powers that beCan you feel?
Can you feel?
Can you feel?
Can you feel?
Can you feel?
Can you feel?
Can you feel?
Can you feel? Can you feel it slipping?

As you lose your grip on me
Can you face that I won in the end
I can't keep from laughingYou can't take it away
I earned this with sweat and blood
You can't take it away
Take what's mineBreathing new life back into me
Challenging all the powers that be
Breathing new life back into me
Challenging all the powers that beBreathing new life
Breathing new life
Breathing new lifeDon't you see it coming?
When you've caught on, it's too late
When it hits, don't forget who I am
Don't forget this faceYou can't take it away
I earned this with sweat and blood
You can't take it away
Take what's mineBreathing new life back into me
Challenging all the powers that be
Breathing new life back into me
Challenging all the powers that beBreathing new life
Breathing new life
Breathing new life
Breathing new life
Breathing new life

Damageplan was a short-lived American groove metal band from Dallas, Texas that formed in 2003 out of the ashes of the legendary Pantera. Following the demise of their previous group Pantera, the Abbott brothers (guitarist Dimebag Darrell and drummer Vinnie Paul) wanted to start a new band. The pair recruited former Halford guitarist Pat Lachman on vocals, and tattoo artist Bob Zilla on bass. Damageplan released its debut album New Found Power in the United States on February 10, 2004, which debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200, selling 44,676 copies in its first week.
