Brick by Brick Lyrics

Brick by brick
We build a house
And then we broke it down
Word for word we ment to hurt
And then we killed the sound
Well it starts with a joke
And then it goes up in smoke
And leaves us wandering how
And no one knows that's all she wrote
Well at least for nowWe're building a fire
Warm up in it's arms
Tears are like diamonds
Nothing is ever good enough for ya
We're building a fire
Warm up in it's arms
Flames are the layers
Nothing here is ever good enough
Nothing here is ever good enough for loveAnd brick by brick we build a house

In this crazy town
And word for word you make love or get hurt
I won't back down
And it starts with a kiss
Did it end up like this
Shit I'm running round
It goes to show you never will know
What life's about what life's aboutWe're building a fire
Warm up in it's arms
Tears are like diamonds
Nothing is ever good enough for ya
We're building a fire
Warm up in it's arms
Flames are the layers
Nothing hereStone by stone we make a home
Just to ?? maybe for a while
Close together and still alone
It's quite the life or quite a lie
Oh we're building a wall right before our eyes
Close together and still aloneWe're building a fire
To warm up in it's arms
Tears are like diamonds
Cause nothing here is ever good enough for ya
We're building a fire
Warm up in it's arms
Flames are the layers
Nothing here is ever good enough for ya
Building a fire here
We warm up in it's arms
Tears are like diamonds
Nothing here is ever good enough
Nothing here is ever good enough for love
Nothing here is ever good enough good enough for love

Racoon is a Dutch pop-rock band founded in 1997 in Goes, Zeeland. Bart van der Weide (vocals) and Dennis Huige (guitar) were fed up with the sound of their hardcore rockband Vic'tem and decided to go acoustic. Their first writings resulted in a song called Rapid Eye Movement. For their first release, a demo called "It's an Ice Cream Day", Stefan de Kroon (bass) and Paul Bukkens (drums) completed the band's line-up.
