Bring on the Rain Lyrics

Well, the time has passed and now it seems
When I sleep, I never dream
I, I wonder whyI've got the chance, had confidence
When I was a young man
Now I, I didn't cryThose sunny days never pass you by
California and the good, good life
I loved it soBut like you, too, I get the blues
And now I say now, now, the
Me, me and the rain, now we knowBring on the rain
Bring on the rain
Bring on the rain
I love the rain
I, I love, now, I
I love the rainThe cloudy skies can bring you back
Your mind can wander off the track
You head for homeThe streets are empty everywhere
Down and out and no one cares
Now you're all aloneThey might take this, they might take that

Still it doesn't change the fact
That you get bySelf-pity is the thing that I avoid now
'Cause you see it makes, makes everybody
Everybody cry, now I sayBring on the rain
Bring on the rain
Bring on the rain
I need the rain
I, I love now, I
I love the rainThem sunny skies all look the same and
Man, I'm looking for a change
I, I want some rain nowOoh, bring on the rain
Bring on the rain
Bring on the rain, nowWell, now, rain can give us all some peace of mind
A passing storm always takes its time
Gives the world peace and solitude, now
It's something that we all look forward toBring on the rain
Bring on the rain
Bring on the rain
I love the rain
I, I need, I need, I need, I need
I need the rain nowWell, them summer days start to look the same
Man, I'm looking for a change
How 'bout some rain now, yeahOoh, bring on the rain
Bring on the rain now
Bring on the rainBring on the rain
Bring on the rain
Bring on the rain
How 'bout a change?
I need, I need, I need, I love
I love the rainBring on the rain
Bring on the rain
Bring on the rain
Bring on the rain
I need, I need, I need, I love
I love the rainYou smell so sweet
[Incomprehensible]
Ooh

Eddie Money (born Edward Joseph Mahoney, March 2, 1949 in New York City, United States) is an American rock singer-songwriter who found success in the 1970s and 1980s with a string of Top 40 hits and platinum albums. Rock impresario Bill Graham said of Money "Eddie Money has it all...Not only can he sing, write and play, but he is a natural performer." After becoming a police officer, like his father, during the late 1960s, Money began to be interested in music, and eventually ended his law enforcement career in favor of becoming a musician.
