In other words, Cloutier is a guitarist who's not afraid to break through with a hard rock riff before moving on to jazzing things up when he has to."

John Hart's splendid song writing and unique singing style (not to mention his swinging guitar groove and slide work) make this band one of a kind. He seems to have lived every note he sings.
The Double Barrel Blues Band is a modern blues group taking traditional blues and rock n’ roll and giving birth to an new era in music. Their signature double guitar sound (Mark Cloutier and John Hart) is well known in music circles. There is no mistaking the intensity and vibe that is John Hart (vocals /slide guitar), Bill Satterly (bass) and Garnett Grimm (drums).

Mark is well known for his guitar slinging ways. His songwriting style delivers such a soulful sound. He has released many guitar instrumentals, one being “Wings of Fire” which was nominated in the Blues category in Syracuse, New York for the Sammy Awards Best Blues Recording 2011.His working band the DBBB was also nominated for a 2010 Sammy Award for their release, “Night Train Home” and have won 2010 and 2011 U.S.I.A.- Upper State Independent Awards in Best Blues Category..

They have played:
· The Watertown Fairgrounds Arena Concert where they opened for the T-Birds
· Inner Harbor Concert Series where they opened for The Marshall Tucker Band
· Pendragon Theatre where they opened for Chris Duarte Group
· Opened for Mark Hummel and the Blues survivors in conjunction wit the Mohawk Valley Blues Society
· The New York State Blues Festival
· Chenango Blues Festival
· Blues In The Bay-Alexandria Bay, NY
· Uncle Sam Boat Tour and many more

They are already booking shows for 2012 and hope to get out and do a few short tours as well as they many festivals and concerts that they play yearly in the New York area. They are eager to stretch their wings a bit further and are hoping to play outside the North East corridor.
