Broken Man Lyrics

Doctor doctor
Can you please check my pulse
It's beating slower
You told me I should expect the worstI know my days ae numbered now
Just a few more months to go
I'll say my last goodbye farewell
And kiss the one I love the mostPick up the pieces of myself
Put me back together nowI'm just a man who was meant to be broken
A lost soul who's life is winding down
My time is running outI'm just a man who's dream has been stolen
A lost soul who's pulse is winding down
My time is running outDoctor doctor
Can I have the good news first
I'm not feeling well and I can tell
You just don't have the curePick up the pieces of myself
Put me back together nowI'm just a man who was meant to be broken
A lost soul who's life is winding down
My time is running outI'm just a man who's dream has been stolen

A lost soul who's pulse is winding down
My time is running outNow I know the end is near
I'll call you off to face my fears alone
I'm dying dying dear
So let me go, just let me goPick up the pieces of myself
Put me back together nowI'm just a man who was meant to be broken
A lost soul who's life is winding down
My time is running outI'm just a man who's dream has been stolen
A lost soul who's pulse is winding down
My time is running out

Formed in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. Playing from the start on self-booked tours across the country gave them some initial national exposure, but they weren't signed to Victory Records until late 2003. As one of the first bands to utilize social networking to gain a fan base, Hawthorne Heights developed a huge MySpace following that became a catalyst that would launch them from underground to international awareness.
