Brokenhearted Lyrics

Yeah, you've been living in a world of fiction
You can't see who's wrong, no
You've been living in the past, it's a contradiction
And this can't carry onWhen I get lonely, you will too
You better face the fact
That no one'll come want you, baby(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, I welcome you, yeah
(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, I welcome you, yeahYou've been heading down the road to nowhere
And you don't know the way
There used to be a time, I'd be there
But now I've got no need to staySo take a look around you, remember who you are
You know you had your chance
But now you've pushed in way too far(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, I welcome you, yeah
(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, I welcome you, yeahI know you know what it feels like
To have friends that tell you wrong

When you come running to me, yeah
You'll find that I can be so strong, yeahYou've been living in a dream, it's ending
So open up your eyes
You've been living out a lie, yeah, pretending
Fooling yourself and you don't know whyWhen you get lonely, when you get down
You better face the fact
That I won't be around, baby(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, I welcome you, yeah
(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, I welcome you, yeah(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, yeah, I welcome you
(Welcome to)
Better get, better get, better get ready
I welcome you to(Welcome to)
Welcome, welcome to
I welcome you
(Welcome to)
The world of the brokenhearted, yeah
(Welcome to)

(Not to be confused with Bad Company UK, the 1990s/2000s drum-and-bass DJ team. If you are here because of them, please fix your artist tags.)

Bad Company was a 1970s British blues-rock group fronted by Paul "The Voice" Rodgers. Their name came from a ‘70s Western movie and they were formed by former members of Mott the Hoople, Free, and King Crimson. Members were Paul Rodgers (singer/pianist), Mick Ralphs (guitarist), Boz Burrell (bassist), and Simon Kirke (drummer).

Their hits include “Shooting Star,” “Bad Company,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy,” "Ready for Love," and “Can’t Get Enough,” most of which are off of the albums Straight Shooter and Bad Company.

In the mid 80`s Rodgers & Burrell left the band. New singer Brian Howe, who had worked with Ted Nugent earlier, made 4 albums with the band. Year 1990`s LP Holy water contained big hit "If you needed somebody". Their style was then more like melodic rock.

In mid 1990`s Howe left the band and solo artist Robert Hart replaced him. Also other guitarist Dave Colwell & basist Rick Wills joined to group. In 2000`s Paul Rodgers came back to make the new album with old band members Kirke, Ralphs & other guys. They got a hit with the song "Joe Fabulous" what was number 1 on Classic Rock Radio. After that recording all original members left the band and new line-up members came to band. Robert Hart became again the band´s singer.
