Burgundy Lyrics

Desperately waiting on something thats more than nothing
Ive been here forever waiting just to see your hands
If you hear me cry, its just something, Im always doing and
Desperately waiting this wait, I hope itll be over soonCry, itll be over soon
Cry itll be over soon
Cry, itll be over soon
CryWhen you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyes
When you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyesWhen you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyes
When you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyesDesperately waiting on something thats more than nothing and
Burgundy blood pouring over my head, its so warm
Been here forever basking in this lonely river
Im desperately waiting on you, I hope itll be over soonCry, itll be over soon
Cry, itll be over soon
Cry, itll be over soon

CryWhen you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyes
When you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyesWhen you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyes
When you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyesI believed you
I believed you
I believed you
I believed youI believed you
I believed you
I believed you
I believed youWhen you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyes
When you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyesWhen you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyes
When you cried, when you died
When you told me youd open my eyesI believed you
I believed you
I believed you
I believed you

Dead Poetic was a rock band hailing from Dayton, Ohio. The band first garnered attention in the underground music scene following the release of their first full-length Four Wall Blackmail which was released by Tooth & Nail subsidiary Solid State Records, and single "August Winterman." In the fall of 2004 personal disagreements within the band caused bassist Chad Shellabarger, drummer Josh Shellabarger, and guitarist Todd Osborn to all depart the band, and Dead Poetic appeared to be a thing of the past.
