Burnin' Leather Lyrics

It's something you can't fake it's all within
Seek for the truth deep inside
Let it open your heart let in the flame
Receive it with mind open wideShake those bonds loose of religion and gospel
But remain a die hard believer
Never let your dreams die the power is all within
And let the flame become your redeemerClimb the mountainside of your own soul
You'll get so much in return
And once you are master in control of within
Then your leather is ready to burnBurnin' leather burnin' leather
Burnin' leather burnin' leatherA coward is no warrior with a heart full of pain
To wield your sword loose lead your fear astray
Open your heart and it'll all comes clear
If your heart is true you've got nothing to fearClimb the mountainside of your own soul

If your heart is true you've got nothing to fearIt's something you can't fake it's all within
Seek for the truth deep inside
Let it open your heart let in the flame
Receive it with mind open wideShake those bonds loose of religion and gospel
But remain a die hard believer
Never let your dreams die the power is all within
And let the flame become your redeemerBurnin' leather burnin' leather
Burnin' leather burnin' leather

Bathory was a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Vällingby in 1983 and named after the infamous Hungarian countess, Elizabeth Báthory. The band's frontman and main songwriter was Quorthon (Thomas Forsberg). Bathory's first four albums were "the blueprint for Scandinavian black metal". The band departed from this style on their fifth album, Hammerheart (1990), which is often cited as the first Viking metal album. Bathory continued in the Viking metal style throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, although the band returned to thrash metal with the albums Requiem (1994) and Octagon (1995).
