By the River St. Marie Lyrics

I left her by the River Sainte Marie
We pledged our love until eternity
Along the pebbl'd pathway from her door
We kissed and then we kissed again
And parted on the shoreThe Angelus rang out upon the sea
I saw her kneel and say a prayer for me
When winter's gone and spring is on
I'll meet her by the River Sainte Marie
