Calling Out of Context Lyrics

Calling out of context
Just to see her
Falling out of sunset
Into your blue sky
Just to see herI see your light is shining, where there was no face
I see what its defining, from another space
I see what's different in me
And what's not the same
Now I see it both ways, just for instance nowRowing out to sea, rowing out to sea
Oh I don't see meCalling out, sending out, just to see her
I see what's different in me and what's not the same
Now I see it both ways rowing out to sea
Over the waves, over the broad waves
Rowing out to sea, rowing out to sea
Over the waves, over the sea
Calling out to sea
Calling out to sea

Arthur Russell (May 21 1951 - April 4, 1992) was a prodigious talent. Classically trained on cello while growing up in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Arthur studied with Ali Akbar Khan in San Francisco in the early 1970's. During this period he also collaborated with Allen Ginsberg, accompanying him on cello while Ginsberg read or sang. Russell also spent time in a Buddhist commune in California; he left when they decided to collectivize his cello.
