Calm Before the Storm Lyrics

Oh-oh-oh, now
Yeah yeah yeah
I love youLove can knock you out when it first hits you
(Listen, I'll tell you)
You can't really stop it when it starts
(You try)
Boy, it's great to have someone to talk to
Someone who can listen from the heartOh, you're like the calm before the storm
Yeah, you're like the sunlight breaking dawn
You can take the cold and make it warm
I wrote you this song, now
I wrote it for her
I wrote it for love
I called it your songNow I've got somebody to hold on to
Love was always something out of reach
(Oh yes, let me grab it)
But she appreciates the things that I do, uh-huh
Now I've got something I'm going to keepOh, you're like the calm before the storm

Yeah, you're like the sunlight breaking dawn
You can take the cold and make it warm
I wrote you this songWant the world to know that you're the
Some sweet song of peace
Like the moonlight through the trees
Gets me everything I need
So I wrote you this song
I wrote it for her
I wrote it for love, now, yes
I called it your song
Oh-oh-ohI want the world to know
I love you, I love you, I love you, I do, yeah
Oh, now, now
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeahOh, you're like the calm before the storm
Yeah, you're like the sunlight breaking dawn
You can take the cold and make it warm
I wrote you this songWant the world to know that you're the
Calm before the storm
Like the sunlight, now, breaking dawn
Take the cold, you can make it so warm
But I wrote you this song
I wrote it for her
I wrote it for love
I called it your song

Eddie Money (born Edward Joseph Mahoney, March 2, 1949 in New York City, United States) is an American rock singer-songwriter who found success in the 1970s and 1980s with a string of Top 40 hits and platinum albums. Rock impresario Bill Graham said of Money "Eddie Money has it all...Not only can he sing, write and play, but he is a natural performer." After becoming a police officer, like his father, during the late 1960s, Money began to be interested in music, and eventually ended his law enforcement career in favor of becoming a musician.
