Cameras In Paris Lyrics

A call is taken
The plans are made
The pawns are placed
For the masqueradeClosed hotel rooms
Off the Place Pigalle
All concealed
Behind the femme fataleTake it from me
There's cameras in Paris
Take it from me
There's cameras in ParisPolitical friction is greased by detante
One country can and another one can't
All the movements in a metaphor
Who is the sleeper found dead on the floorTake it from me
There's cameras in Paris
Some papers are missingExposure's automatic
Exposure's automatic
Exposure's automatic
In ParisUmbrellas rolling in Hyde Park

Announcement made don't be seen after dark
Tension rising in the Eastern Block
Who are the two men with theSame swiss clock
Take it from me
There's cameras in Paris
Some papers are missingThere's cameras in Paris
So take it from me
There's cameras in Paris
Some papers are missingExposure's automatic
Exposure's automatic
Exposure's automatic
In ParisSo take it from me
There's cameras in Paris
Some papers are missingExposure's automatic
Exposure's automatic
Cameras in Paris
Cameras in Paris
Exposure's automatic

The Fixx is a British new wave band formed in 1980. The group was formed by college friends Cy Curnin (vocals) and Adam Woods (drums). The pair placed an ad for additional members. Jamie West-Oram (guitar), Rupert Greenall (keyboards) and Charlie Barret (bass) joined the band as a result. Barret left after the first album and was replaced by Dan K. Brown. They are perhaps best remembered for their song "One Thing Leads To Another", from their most successful album, the 1983 Reach The Beach. Other hits include, "Red Skies", "Stand or Fall", "Saved by Zero" and "Are We Ourselves?".
