Can't Finish Lyrics

One morale that needs the strengthening
A timely episode of fate, would you be there?
The sound of silence seems so deafening
To have to fight alone seems so [unverified]
Don't tell meI can't finish what you started
I'm too far in to be without
Can't seem to preach without the practice
Far too many of us would like to get something startedThe rush of youth, what it could achieve
Would create more than cruising out to plunder
All you need is faith, all you need is faith in yourself
Don't tell meI can't finish what you started
I'm in too far in to be without
Can't seem to preach without the practice
Far too many scenes to be acted outIt's time for us to start restructuring
And my imagination, my imagination is my tool
Society won't have my ears for lecturing
All I have is my faith, all I have is my faith get away
Don't tell meI can't finish what you started

I'm too far in to be without
Can't seem to preach without the practice
Far too many scenes to be acted out

The Fixx is a British new wave band formed in 1980. The group was formed by college friends Cy Curnin (vocals) and Adam Woods (drums). The pair placed an ad for additional members. Jamie West-Oram (guitar), Rupert Greenall (keyboards) and Charlie Barret (bass) joined the band as a result. Barret left after the first album and was replaced by Dan K. Brown. They are perhaps best remembered for their song "One Thing Leads To Another", from their most successful album, the 1983 Reach The Beach. Other hits include, "Red Skies", "Stand or Fall", "Saved by Zero" and "Are We Ourselves?".
