Can't You See (Live) Lyrics

Gonna take a freight train down at the station, Lord
I don't care where it goes
Gonna climb a mountain, the highest mountain, Lord
And jump off, ain't nobody gonna know
Can't you see, oh, can't you see
What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see
What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
Gonna find me a hole in the wall
Gonna crawl inside and die
'Cause my lady now, a mean old woman, Lord
Never told me goodbye
Can't you see, oh, can't you see
What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see

What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
I'm gonna buy a ticket, as far as I can, I ain't never comin' back
I'm gonna take that south-bound
Runnin' all the way to Georgia, Lord
Till the train, it run out of track
Can't you see, oh, can't you see
What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see
What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, oh Lord, can't you see
What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see
What that woman, Lord, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see
What that woman, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see
What that woman, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see
What that woman, she been doin' to me?
Can't you see, can't you see
What that woman, she been doin' to me?

The Marshall Tucker Band is a Southern rock band. Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, the band formed in 1972, and soon signed with Capricorn Records. In 1973 they released their first EP, simply titled 'The Marshall Tucker band. Compared to southern rock pioneers and label-mates The Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker had a more country and western feel, with the flute being a key lead instrument in their sound.
