Can't You See Lyrics

I'm gonna take a freight train, down at the station
I don't care where it goes
Gonna climb me a mountain, the highest mountain, Lord,
Gonna jump off, nobody gonna knowCan't you see, can't you see, what that woman, she been doin' to me
Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman been doin' to meI'm gonna find me a hole in the wall, gonna crawl inside and die
That lady, mean ol' woman Lord, never told me goodbyeCan't you see, can't you see, what that woman she been doin' to me
Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman been doin' to meGonna buy me a ticket now, as far as I can, ain't never comin' back
Take me Southbound, all the way to Georgia now, till the train run out of trackCan't you see, can't you see, what that woman, she been doin' to me
Can't you see, can't you see, what that woman been doin' to me

The Marshall Tucker Band is a Southern rock band. Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, the band formed in 1972, and soon signed with Capricorn Records. In 1973 they released their first EP, simply titled 'The Marshall Tucker band. Compared to southern rock pioneers and label-mates The Allman Brothers Band, Marshall Tucker had a more country and western feel, with the flute being a key lead instrument in their sound.
