Capital do Agreste - Banda de Pífanos de Caruaru

Banda de Pífanos de Caruaru ("Fifes Band Of Caruaru"), also known as Banda de Pífanos Zabumba de Caruaru, is an instrumental group that plays regional music from brazilian northeast , with fifes and percussion. Formed in 1924 by Manoel Clarindo Biano and Benedito Clarindo Biano in brazilian sertão, the band is one of the oldest musical groups still in activity and one of the most tradicional bands of regional music in Brazil. All the youngest members of the group are sons and nephews of the founders of the band.
