Captain Lyrics

Faithful love abandoned
Search for land we're stranded
Storms are slowly moving in
Feel the sun is setting
No point in regretting
We might make it on our own
Cos' we used to know our way back home
We had a lighthouse
But will we know which way to turn
With all the lights outI said whos gonna captain us
I said whos gonna captain us
I said whos gonna navigateThrough this hurricane
Sweeping over our fate
You said you'd keep an eye on those rocks
I said I'd keep an eye on those rocks
We said we'd keep an eye on themBut we've broken up againThink we need a captainI thought we had it figuredHolding onto triggersStand off pointing at our headsYou held your ground foreverBut you lost me not so cleverYou can drown alone I guessCos' we used to know our way back homeWe had a lighthouseBut will we know which way to turnWith all the lights outI said whos gonna captain us
I said whos gonna captain usI said whos gonna navigateThrough this hurricaneSweeping over our fateYou said you'd keep an eye on those rocksI said I'd keep an eye on those rocksWe said we'd keep an eye on themBut we've broken up againThink we need a captainI see you sinking over everything we say and doSos'in you're confessin' it ain't helpinNow we falter in the water I reach out to youCurrents come I don't see you swimmingI said whos gonna captain usI said whos gonna captain usI said whos gonna navigateThrough this hurricaneSweeping over our fateI said whos gonna navigate usWhos gonna navigate usI said whos gonna navigateThrough this hurricaneSweeping over our fateNow we're breaking up againNow we're breaking up againNow we're breaking up again

Frankmusik (birth name Vincent James Turner) is the stage name of a producer, songwriter from Thornton Heath, South East London, England. According to Songfacts, "Frank" is derived from the surname of his grandfather, whose name he took in tribute.
One day, he decided that it was high time that he made some pop music that was a little different. Through a combination of retro synths, Commodore 64 samples, fast chunky drum riffs, and tried and tested lyrics, Frankmusik decided to get the ball rolling in 2007 and was signed to Island/Universal December of that year. His debut album "Complete Me" was released on 3 August 2009.
Frankmusik went on to changing his stage name to Vincent Did It in January, 2012, however he reverted back to Frankmusik in March, 2012.
