Carnival 4 (The Carrying Song) Lyrics

Don't force my hand
Maybe come in with open arms
Will you stumble up stairs
Through the contests and false alarms
But there was a lie
You're not the only abandoned sea
There was a lie
Born out of warm JulyAnd if you weigh me down
You might just wear me down
Don't weigh me down
We're only lost for now
Maybe we'll try to see
Don't force my handWe'll be coming around somehow
Will you stumble up stairs
You must be stronger than I am now
If there's still a chance
Born out of warm JulyAnd if you weigh me down
You might just wear me down

Don't weigh me down
We're only lost for now
And if you blame that crowd
Watch it wear me down
DownMadness born from nothing at all
And everyone who cares
Is lost upon the carry bed
Doesn't weigh you downAnd if you weigh me down
You might just wear me down
And if you weigh me down
You might just wear me down
Don't weigh me down
We're only lost now

Goldheart Assembly is a British alternative pop-rock band from London, England. The band formed in 2007 as a group of six musicians from various bands. They met at club nights at Covent Garden’s Rock Garden run by now-bandleaders James Dale and John Herbert. Slowly, after a period of “band hopping and stand-ins,” a stable line-up became Goldheart Assembly, who bonded over a mutual love of The Beatles and named themselves after a Guided By Voices tune, Goldheart Mountaintop Queen Directory.
