Carol of the Bells Lyrics

Hark how the bells
Sweet silver bells
All seem to say
Throw cares awayChristmas is here
Bringing good cheer
To young and old
Meek and the boldDing dong, ding dong
That is their song
With joyful ring
All carolingOne seems to hear
Words of good cheer
From everywhere
Filling the airOh, how they pound
Raising the sound
O'er Hill and Dale
Telling their taleGaily they ring
While people sing
Songs of good cheer

Christmas is hereMerry, merry, merry, merry Christmas
Merry, merry, merry, merry ChristmasOn, on they send
On without end
Their joyful tone
To every homeDing, dong, ding, dong, dong

Brennan grew up as the eldest in a very musical family in a remote parish in the northwest of Ireland, a place where the Irish language and tradition was and still is very much alive.
