Carpe Per Diem Lyrics

It doesn't matter, we used to say that every night
Slitting heads between us just to kill the fight
It's not forgotten, it's not said peace
we lived like devil through December
A hundred days to almost every state and every town
Keep steady hold fast
In the rear-view is where we leave the past
salvation in free gas
Smoke swirling through tinted glass
So where's this going?
It's not worth knowing
Frustration digs in
Numb arms and aspirin
Ears blown away, confronts this everyday
And summarise you never can tell
The basement gigs and none of them were big
The Styx arose on a highway southern boundHow can you prose the highs and lows
Take the jewels of living, drive them straight to hell

The path requires the truth, the liars
And pushed from others on the way
Off beaten tracks, I'd done it gracefully
Time lost in space, but we miss the taste
We must remind ourselves where we have been
Where we have beenYou feel alive for those who dies
Drive straight, another date
Don't, it's all you got
Decades changed us but I'll proudly say...
How can you prose the highs and lows
Take the jewels of living, drive them straight to hell
The path requires the truth, the liars
And pushed from others on the wayHow can you prose the highs and lows
Take the jewels of living, drive them straight to hell
The path requires the truth, the liars
And pushed from others on the wayOff beaten tracks, I'd never take it back
Though I wish I'd done it gracefully
Time lost in space, but we miss the taste
We must remind ourselves where we have been
Where we have been
