Cast Me Aside Lyrics

So you think that you got it all figured out
I told you, you got no clue what it is all about
Now, you want to cling to the next big thing
Be part of the scene and ride the big machineWell, it ain't gonna work out that way
Now, you want to cling to the next big thing
Be part of the scene and ride the big machine
Well, it ain't gonna work out that wayWhat, who, where were you when I was down on my luck?
You know you never gave a fuck, you just cast me aside
What, who, where were you when I needed you?
You know you never came through
And now you wanna come along for the rideI told you I know you as well as you think you do
I showed you just how easy you are to see straight throughNow, you want to cling to the next big thing
Be part of the scene and ride the big machine
Well, it ain't gonna work out that wayNow, you want to cling to the next big thing
Be part of the scene and ride the big machine
Well, it ain't gonna work out that wayWhat, who, where were you when I was down on my luck?
You know you never gave a fuck, you just cast me aside
What, who, where were you when I needed you?

You know you never came through
And now you wanna come along for the rideNothing to me you're nothing to me
Nothing to me you're nothing to me
Nothing to me you're nothing to meWhat, who, where were you?
What, who, where were you?
What, who, where were you? What, who, where were you when I was down on my luck?
You know you never gave a fuck, you just cast me aside
What, who, where were when I needed you ?You know you never came through
And now you wanna come along for the ride
For the ride, for the ride, for the ride, for the
Now, you wanna come along for the ride

Their 2001 debut album, Sinner, was certified platinum within six months and the video for its first single "Bodies" was frequently aired on various music video channels. After the September 11th attacks the song "Bodies" was infrequently heard on many radio stations due to the sensitivity of those families' loved ones who jumped from the towers.
