Catalina Sunset (Ben Mitchell's Sao Benito Remix) - Soulphonic Soundsystem

Soulphonic Soundsystem is a collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Chauncey Canfield and Transistor Lounge resident DJ Santo that combines broken beats with live instrumentation including horns, a rhodes piano and a really sick dose of latin flavor. Their first 12", "Sonido" featured vocals from Geri Soriano-Lightwood of Supreme Beings of Leisure, and aroused interest from global taste makers including Richard Dorfmeister and Rainer Truby.
